Twenty-nine dead and 982 injured in traffic accidents. This is the results of firefighters during the Great Magal in Touba, Senegal, which took place last week. An annual religious event that records victims on the road every year. Despite the measures taken by the authorities to try to reduce the number of accidents, the situation does not improve.
The detachment of the National Brigade of Firefighters, mobilized to provide security and medical coverage for the 131st anniversary of the Grand Magal of Touba, made public its final report.
