Filming for the film 'Verdandi' has begun

The film Verdandi is currently being filmed. Director Dagmar Knöpfel has since 2016 been frequently visiting the Faroe Islands to prepare the film. All the actors are Faroese and about half of the film crew is Faroese.  In this film, it is not the men who left in the center, but the women and families who stayed behind.
