World-Class Film Production Training Center Nears Completion
- On June 25, 2025, Albuquerque, Central New Mexico Community College, and the state’s Economic Development Department marked a milestone by placing the final beam for a film production training facility at the historic Rail Yards.
- This project follows years of investment and funding from voter-approved bonds, state allocations, and local government to revitalize the site and support workforce training.
- The new facility will bring together CNM’s acclaimed Film Production and Digital Media courses alongside the New Mexico Media Arts Collective, providing soundstages, instructional spaces, and up-to-date technology to support practical, career-focused training.
