Part of a field on Spellestraat in Wouw went up in flames on Monday afternoon. The fire broke out ten to half past three and was under control shortly after four. The fire brigade was present with many people and equipment. Citizens also helped out. There was grain on the piece of land, part of which was burned. The cause of the fire is unknown.
