Fiat TRIS: the Funky Electric Three-Wheeler Coming to South Africa

- This compact utility vehicle measures 3.17 meters, offers three configurations , carries a 540 kg payload, and includes a 6.9 kWh battery allowing a 90 km range at 45 km/h top speed.
- The Tris recharges via a standard 220V socket, reaching 80% charge in 3.5 hours and full capacity in 4 hours 40 minutes, while homologation meets EU regulations, allowing potential future European availability.
- Fiat expects the Tris to transform urban commercial mobility in MEA by lowering barriers to ownership and offering economic empowerment, with Europe possibly being the next market for this electric three-wheeler.
