Festus seeks voter approval for internet tax to benefit public safety

The city of Festus on Nov. 4 will ask voters to approve Proposition Public Safety. If passed by a simple majority, it would allow the city to charge a 3-cent sales tax on internet purchases to benefit Festus Police, Fire and dispatching services.
