FERRIDAY, La. — Ferriday Fire Chief Corey King had been examined at Merit Health Natchez after fighting a fire on Fifth Street in Ferriday on Monday, the Concordia Sentinel reports. The chief was apparently struck by debris while fighting the fire inside the home and had been examined and treated for dehydration.  King said his medical test results were good and he is alright.
