Luxury cars have been impounded after two teenagers were allegedly driving more than 100km/h above the limit.

Four young ‘idiots’ were allegedly caught racing each other at more than 100km/h over the speed limit near where Nick Campo was killed in a crash last year.

The troops of the Remoulins Brigade carried out a speed check on the N100 at Estézargues. Among the offences noted, a driver was intercepted at 154 km/h instead of 90. His vehicle was immediately placed in the impoundment.

Stunt driving in Roslin

Stunt driving charges have been laid in north end Belleville. Just before 6:00 p.m. Thursday, officers were conducting speed enforcement on Highway 37 in Roslin and stopped a vehicle travelling 109 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. A 38-year-old from Trenton has been charged with stunt driving and has a court date next month. The driver lost his vehicle for two weeks and licence for a month.
