The Fernpass road (B179) in Tyrol, a heavily trafficked north-south route through Tyrol for through traffic and tourists, will be closed on Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. due to two announced demonstrations by a citizens' initiative. During the two-hour closure, the Fernpass will therefore be impassable. At the same time, the narrow Hahntennjoch road (L246) will also be closed for capacity and supply security reasons.
