A 35-year-old Asheville man was sentenced to 28½ years in prison on Thursday for his role in a drug trafficking ring that distributed many pounds of fentanyl, methamphetamine and other drugs in Buncombe and Henderson counties and the surrounding area, U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson announced.
