MONROE, NC – A suspected drug dealer is in jail charged in connection to the overdose death of a man in Monroe. Police arrested 52-year-old Fredrick Bivens on Saturday. Investigators believe he supplied drugs to 39-year-old Jerry Deese, who overdosed at a home on Broome Street in March.
