Federal jury finds Broome County judge discriminated against female employee, awards $200,000

Binghamton, N.Y. ― A federal jury in Syracuse has ruled a former Broome County judge discriminated against an employee who said he sexually harassed her for years. Richard Miller II, a former Broome County Family Court judge, was found to have discriminated against Rachelle Gallagher based on her sex while she worked as a court employee in his chambers.
