The eve of Independence Day included a salute to local veterans, with the unveiling of two highway signs designating "Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge." AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) - The Shaw’s Creek Bridge is one of the most traveled bridges in all of Aiken County. But after a series of discussions, local and state leaders held a ceremony Thursday morning to give this historic bridge a new name.
