Federal funds for after-school and summer programs released

At the start of July, advocates expressed concern after federal grant funding that supports afterschool and summer educational programs was held up. That funding has now been released.

Federal after-school funding released, other grants remain frozen

After-school programs at Rio Rico and Nogales schools will return as normal at the beginning of the school year, after the Trump administration rolled back its pause on a federal grant sponsoring after-school and summer programs across the country.
