Murat Kurum, the Chairperson of COP31 and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, has held 36 international meetings so far as part of his diplomatic efforts ahead of the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which Turkey will host for the first time.
Antalya will host the COP31 Climate Summit from November 9-20. Preparations are underway in luxury hotels in Belek for the event, which is expected to be attended by heads of state from at least 60 countries.
