Community organizations commemorated a year since the Eaton fire as they raised the voice in defense of immigrant workers who are helping families rebuild, the same ones who are afraid to go to work for fear of meeting federal immigration agents. This morning, several immigrant day laborers who participated in clearing debris, delivering emergency aid and rebuilding homes spoke about the importance of Latino hands in reconstruction.
