The PLR launched on Monday its campaign against the increase in VAT submitted to the vote on 29 November. The party believes that this increase aimed at financing the 13th AVS pension would seriously penalise households and SMEs.
In November, the voting population decides on an increase in VAT. This will partially finance the 13th AHV pension. On Monday, the FDP launched its vote against the proposal.
At the end of November Switzerland voted on the financing of the 13th AHV pension – by means of a VAT increase. While the left and the trade union confederation tamely say yes, the union of service-public personnel is now firmly opposed.
