Three homes damaged in Newport structure fire

Three homes were damaged in a fire in Newport Friday morning, according to Newport Fire and EMS. Fire crews from Fort Thomas, Wilder, Southgate and Bellevue/Dayton were called to assist Newport firefighters around 9:30 a.m. as they battled a structure fire at 12th and Putnam streets.
