BOGOTÁ (AP) — A Colombian judge on Monday decided to convict the father of the indigenous children who survived 40 days in the Colombian jungle after a plane crash in 2023 of sexually abusing a family member.
The children survived with a package of cassava flour that was on the plane and wild fruits. After their rescue, they were placed in the custody of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (ICBF).
