Fatal train collision in Las Cruces

Las Cruces police are investigating tonight after deadly train collision. It happened this afternoon just before 2 p.m. Police and fire were called to the 1700 block of south Main Street in Las Cruces. Once on scene, officers found a man who was struck by a northbound BNSF train. The man was unresponsive with multiple injuries, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
