Fatal stabbing sparks homicide investigation

A man has died after a stabbing in Norlane on Sunday afternoon. Police were called to Alkira Avenue at about 12.40pm following reports of an altercation involving three men and two women. A man, who is yet to be formally identified, sustained critical injuries and was treated by emergency services but died at the scene.
