A woman in her 70s died after becoming trapped on the third floor of burning house in New Bedford. On Oct. 9, there fire was at 396-398 Elm Street in New Bedford around 8:30 p.m. First responders learned on the way there that residents were trapped on the second and third floors of the multi-family home.
