- The Turbulent Team showcased their classic D31 Turbulents, single-seater open-cockpit aircraft that first appeared in 1953, performing complex maneuvers including "flour-bombing, balloon-bursting and limbo-flying."
- Following the incident, Stow Maries confirmed via Facebook that the site remains closed to the public while reporting no other injuries were sustained at the aerodrome.
- The Vans RV-8, a high-performance two-seater kit-built aircraft capable of reaching 220mph, was also scheduled to demonstrate speed and agility above the WW1 aerodrome.
