West Hartford Tuesday announced a $20 million settlement with the family of a 5-year-old who died after teachers thought he was just “playing dead” when he collapsed on a school playground. Romeo D. Pierre Louis was a kindergarten student at Charter Oak International Academy when on April 5, 2022 he suffered a cardiac emergency while on the school’s playground during recess. Read more at WTNH
