Families are invited to travel back in time this May as The Auckland Project continues to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe – the end of the Second World War in Europe – with a final celebration during May half-term.

Families encouraged to share wartime stories as interactive VE-Day 80 tour comes to Hendon

An interactive exhibition bringing to life the stories of those who fought during the Second World War - and enabling visitors to share their own stories from their families and friends - is coming to the RAF Museum in Hendon this half-term.

The event is part of the 80-year commemoration of the end of the Second World War and the Nazi regime. Since the beginning of the year, the Ötztal Museums have been offering events every two weeks that are of great interest.
