ASHLAND - Two tight-knit communities -- Northern Schuylkill County and the first responder community -- came out in force Wednesday to lay one of their own to rest. Motorcycle units from five states led Trooper Michael Pahira's funeral procession from the North Schuylkill High School in Fountain Springs through Ashland to his final resting place.
