Fake videos and images depicting fake attacks and fake troops have racked up tens of millions of views on social media platforms in the nearly two weeks since the Iran war began.
There has been an explosion of fake AI videos from the war in the Middle East on social media: “We have passed a technological point where it is no longer possible for the user to distinguish between real and fake videos,” technology expert Hans-Petter Nygård-Hansen tells Nettavisen.
