Failed execution raises questions about the death penalty

Dozens of medical professionals say Tennessee should pause executions until corrections officials reform lethal-injection procedures after a failed backup IV placement.

(The Center Square) – Dr. Robert Quinn did not personally know Tony Carruthers, the Tennessee inmate whose execution was called off in May after an attempt, but he's been to Tennessee's Death Row.
