Norris Leads McLaren One-Two in First Hungarian Practice
HUNGARY, AUG 1 – Lando Norris edged championship leader Oscar Piastri by 0.019 seconds in FP1 at the Hungaroring, with McLaren locking out the top two spots ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.
- On Aug 1, 2025, Lando Norris topped FP1 with a 1m16.052s lap, beating Oscar Piastri by 0.019s.
- Amid dry but windy skies, the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix's FP1 at Hungaroring featured a 14-corner layout and air temperatures at 28°C.
- Impressing in midfield, Haas rookie Oliver Bearman posted a top-10 time ahead of Pierre Gasly, while Charles Leclerc's 1m16.791s lap surpassed Norris.
