Extreme heat warning affecting 5 N.J. counties Tuesday and Wednesday

On Monday at 2:40 p.m. an extreme heat warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday 11 a.m. until Wednesday 8 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.The weather service says, “Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 106 degrees expected.”

Excessive Heat Warning Issued During New Jersey Heat Wave

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for Hudson County and four other northeastern New Jersey counties, in effect from now until Wednesday, July 30th.
