Extinction Rebellion activists block IJmuiden lock

A handful of Extinction Rebellion protesters are protesting at the Zeesluis in IJmuiden on Friday evening. A cruise ship moored in front of the lock is unable to sail through. According to XR, the ship in question is the Celebrity Eclips, which wanted to leave the Netherlands for a thirteen-day "luxury tour". XR has often protested the "devastating impact" of cruise ships on the environment.
