On the night of May 16, Ukrainian drones hit the Nevinnomyssk Azot chemical plant in the Stavropol region, Kyiv Independent reports. The Russian plant, whose products may have military purposes, has also been attacked previously during the war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is trying to further involve Belarus in the war against Ukraine. He made the announcement after a meeting with the heads of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of the Defense Ministry, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
