The Executive asked the Senate to authorize President Keiko Fujimori to leave the country to travel to the Republic of El Salvador to make an official visit and hold a meeting with President Nayib Bukele, and to the city of Madrid, Spain, in order to participate in the XXX Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government.
The Executive asked the Senate of the Republic to authorize President Keiko Fujimori to leave the country and make two official trips between the end of October and the beginning of November.
The official request entered the Bureau of Parties of the Senate and includes two international visits. The first destination will be El Salvador, following an invitation from President Nayib Bukele, and the second will be Spain, where the president will participate in the Ibero-American Summit.
The request includes a meeting with Nayib Bukele and a visit to CECOT on October 29, in addition to the Ibero-American Summit in Madrid. Between both trips, the president would spend only one day in the country.
