Authorities arrested a suspect in connection with multiple armed robberies allegedly committed with another man who was later fatally shot following a multi-county chase and shootout with police in San Jose.
The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed on Wednesday the arrest of a suspect who allegedly committed several crimes with Mohamed Husien, who died after being shot at by the San José police on January 21. Authorities identified the individual as Edward Macias, who, according to the San José police, was complicit in stealing and was left by Husien in a car dealership in the city.
