Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders Announces Faith-Based Community Outreach Pilot Program
The 10:33 Initiative pilot will serve 300 to 500 Arkansans in crisis by linking them with faith-based and community partners using technology to support housing, healthcare, and jobs.
- On Monday, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the 10:33 Initiative pilot program, a 12-month effort launching in Pulaski, Union, and Pope counties.
- Created by the Faith-Based Initiatives office, the program was designed to lift Arkansans out of poverty and improve long-term self-sufficiency by linking them with faith and community partners.
- Using technology, the initiative will deploy Restore Hope's HopeHub, used in 19 counties, alongside the Arkansas LAUNCH platform, which has 16,217 users and 5,807 jobs from 593 employers.
- Paula White-Cain attended Monday's unveiling alongside more than 150 faith community leaders and government officials, while Paul Chapman and Janet Mann said the initiative can transform lives and serve as a national model.
- Officials say the pilot aims as a blueprint for statewide expansion to help Arkansans move from crisis to career, inspired by the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10:25-37.
