Virginia Democratic Party Official Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material
Prosecutors said he used Jack'd and Telegram to seek abuse of a purported 9-year-old and possessed 43 CSAM files.
Former Democratic political strategist Randon Alexander Sprinkle was sentenced to 10 years in prison for distributing child sexual abuse material, the Department of Justice announced.
FBI agents searched Sprinkle's Richmond, Virginia residence on October 15, 2025, seizing two laptops and a cellphone containing 43 files of child sexual abuse material.
During an undercover operation on May 22, 2025, Sprinkle contacted an undercover agent with the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force posing as a nine-year-old boy's father using the dating app "Jack'd."
Court documents allege that Sprinkle alluded to sexual interest in minors and sent a video depicting two adults sexually abusing a child, while expressing interest in traveling to Washington, D.C.
This prosecution was part of Project Safe Childhood, a DOJ initiative launched in 2006 to combat the epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
