Miss South Dakota Competition BROOKINGS – Evian Johnson, 18, was crowned Miss South Dakota’s Teen on Friday night. For her talent, she performed a lyrical dance to “Speechless” from Aladdin. Her community service initiative is “Use Your Power,” advocating for those with dyslexia. She is from Brookings and plans to attend Lake Area Technical College and major in surgical technology.
