'Everything was for Izzy': Hamilton softball claims state title

Hamilton softball defied the odds to become Class D state champions for the first time Saturday. Just weeks after standout freshman Izzy Catania's death, Coach Zac Darrow's squad edged Argyle 11-10 with a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning. The title comes after Hamilton had one of its players tragically die in her sleep earlier in the season.
