Everest ascent : a tribute to a new beginnings

When Akkal Bahadur Bohora left Nepal for Spain nearly two decades ago, he had no idea that one day he would carry the name of his adopted home to the top of the world. But on Sunday 19 May, at precisely 6:30 am, he stood on the summit of Mount Everest — 8,848.86 metres above sea level — with a Spanish flag bearing the names l’Alfàs del Pi and l’Albir fluttering in his hand.
