EU’s von der Leyen to invite frontier labs for talks on tackling AI risks
The European Commission will work with leading AI labs on safety measures as concerns grow over frontier models and recent testing breaches.

- Noting that the AI Act became enforceable in August, she highlighted the Commission's supervisory powers over risk-mitigation measures following industry calls to slow self-recursive models.
