The European project for the construction of a pipeline between Marseille and Barcelona for the transport of hydrogen, the BarMar project, has entered a new phase. The preliminary design is now being developed into a definitive technical design. A provisional route for the pipeline has also been established. According to the parties involved, this concerns Europe's first major hydrogen corridor.
