Trump's peace council will meet for the first time in Washington on Thursday. Several member states will have to defend their participation against criticism from within their own countries.
Péter Szijjártó submitted the bill on the promulgation of the Council's Statute.
This new body which is intended to bypass the UN will meet for the first time in Washington, D.C., on Thursday 19 February. On the European side, only Hungary and Bulgaria have agreed to sit there, but several countries, as well as the European Commission, have decided to send observers there.
