The story of Cassie's character in Sam Levinson's TV series has sparked much more controversy than the case of Margo, who has money problems (for which the costume designer said that "boobs are an important part of this series"). But more than the director's perspective, perhaps what's worrying is that for his protagonists the only possible career option seems to be selling their bodies.
The accusations against "Euphoria" are violent: misogyn, hypersexualized, voyeuristic. I found them above all – insanely good acting and bitterly evil funny. Honestly, does every story have to be morally clean?
