Now Alice Teodorescu Måwe is speaking out for the first time about the incident in the European Parliament that led to her and a V official reporting each other for assault. “Yesterday I was attacked in the European Parliament, at my workplace, by a person I have never met,” writes the KD leader on X. She believes the incident was an attack “against democracy as such.”

The incident in the EU Parliament was initiated and escalated by the official from the Left Party, according to Parliament's press spokesperson Delphine Colard.

After an investigation, the European Parliament announces that it was the V official who “initiated and escalated” the situation during yesterday’s altercation with MEP Alice Teodorescu Måwe (KD). However, the Left Party stands by its version.
