"The European Union already has in place widespread sanctions against Iran, but today we also reached a political agreement to extend our sanctions regime and also include those responsible for violations of the freedom of navigation," announced Kaja Kallas, the head of the diplomacy of the bloc, after meeting this Tuesday with the Foreign Ministers of the Twenty-Seven in Luxembourg.
