Brussels opens the door to the reallocation of funds from PT2030 for defense and housing
The initiative, announced by the vice-president of the European Commission Raffaele Fitto, aims to reallocate European funds to respond to “emerging challenges”. Defense and affordable housing are two of the challenges identified. The Commission wants new programs to work as early as 2026.
