The human rights institutions of European countries, in a statement published on Wednesday, are alarmed at the attacks against the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) by a coalition of States. In an open letter, a total of nine countries have called for negotiations to be opened to review the doctrine of European jurisdiction.
