The ESB has announced that fishing can resume on both the Shannon and Liffey (inc Blessington Lake) systems from today, Friday 31st July, as water temperatures have decreased to acceptable levels. Permits are now available to purchase on the IFI permit site: https://permits.fishinginireland.info/ The Lee system (Inc Inniscarra Reservoir) remains closed.
