Addis Abeba -- The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) said 143 polling stations across the country failed to open today due to security-related problems, while voting that had already begun was later interrupted in parts of the Oromia and Amhara regions.
Ethiopians have been voting massively since dawn on Monday and until midnight for legislatures where a large victory seems to be gained in the Prosperity Party (PP) of outgoing Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, candidate for his own succession, a disturbed election in two conflict regions.
