Airline Nordica announced on Wednesday that it will cease operations and file for bankruptcy. The Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Svet, the Vice-Chancellor of the Climate Ministry Sander Salmu and the CEO of Nordic Aviation Group Remco Althuis will comment on the decision.

On Monday, November 18, investor Lars Thuesen informed Nordic Aviation Group of his intention not to proceed with the privatization of the company. Therefore, assessing the economic situation, the company's board decided to terminate the airline's operations and file a bankruptcy petition for Nordic Aviation Group AS and Regional Jet OÜ (Xfly).
